Refund Policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026
Our products are digital downloads delivered instantly, so we can't take them back once they've been downloaded. Here's exactly how refunds work and what your legal rights are.
1. All sales are final once the download is accessed
Because beat licences, loop kits and sample packs are digital content that can't be “returned”, all sales are final once your download has been made available or accessed, except as set out in section 3 below.
2. Your 14-day cancellation right (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital content not supplied on a physical medium, that right ends once supply begins if you have given your express consent to immediate supply and acknowledged that you will lose the right to cancel (regulation 37).
At checkout you are asked to tick a box confirming exactly that. By ticking it and completing your purchase, you consent to immediate supply and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day cancellation right once the download is made available. We confirm this consent in your order email.
3. When we will give a refund or replacement
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected. Digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it isn't, you're entitled to a repair or replacement, and if that isn't possible or doesn't fix the problem within a reasonable time, a price reduction or refund (up to 100%). In practice we will:
- Faulty or corrupt files: send you a working replacement, or refund you in full if we can't.
- Files not as described: for example missing stems in a trackout lease, or files that don't match the tier you paid for. We'll supply the correct files or refund you.
- Files not delivered: if you never received working download links and we can't resolve it, we'll refund you in full.
- Duplicate purchases: if you accidentally bought the same licence for the same beat twice, or the same kit twice, we'll refund the duplicate.
We do not offer refunds for change of mind, for buying the wrong tier (but see upgrades below), or because a beat was later leased to someone else (leases are non-exclusive).
4. Upgrades and exclusive rights
- Lease upgrades: bought a lower tier and need more? You can upgrade at any time by paying only the difference between the two tiers. Contact us with your order number.
- Exclusive upgrades: if you buy exclusive rights to a beat you previously leased, the amount you paid for the lease is credited against the exclusive price.
- Exclusive agreements are bespoke contracts and are non-refundable once the files have been delivered and the beat has been removed from sale, except where the law requires.
5. How to request a refund or replacement
Email hello@samu-soul.com within 30 days of purchase with your order number, the product, and a description of the problem (screenshots help). We'll reply within 1–2 working days. Approved refunds are paid to your original payment method, normally within 14 days of our approval. If your refund relates to a beat licence, the licence ends when the refund is issued and you must not release music using that beat.
Chargebacks: please contact us before raising a dispute with your bank; we'll always try to put things right. See also our Terms of Service.
