All beats, compositions, sound recordings, loops, samples, artwork and content on this site are © Samu Soul (or used under licence) and protected by the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and international copyright law.
1. Using our music
You may only use our beats and sounds under a licence purchased from this site (see Beat Licence Agreements and the Sound Kit Licence) or a signed exclusive agreement. Downloading or ripping previews, removing audio tags, or releasing music using our beats without a valid licence is copyright infringement.
2. Content ID and false claims
Lease holders may not register our beats with YouTube Content ID or similar systems. If you have a valid licence and receive a claim relating to one of our beats, email us your order number and the link to your content and we'll help get it released.
3. Reporting infringement of our work
If you believe someone is using our beats without a licence, please email hello@samu-soul.com with links to the content. We may issue takedown notices to platforms and distributors.
4. Takedown notices for content on this site (UK & DMCA)
We respect the intellectual property of others. If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to hello@samu-soul.com or by post to 4 Davey Gardens, Barking, IG11 0FB, United Kingdom, including:
- your name, address, telephone number and email address;
- identification of the copyright work you claim has been infringed;
- the URL or other information identifying the material on our site;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury (for notices under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. §512), that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf; and
- your physical or electronic signature.
We will review valid notices promptly and remove or disable access to infringing material where appropriate.
5. Counter-notices
If material you provided was removed and you believe this was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice with your contact details, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts.
6. Repeat infringers
We may refuse service to, and cancel licences of, anyone who repeatedly infringes copyright.
